Industrial Rhodamine Basic Dyes are salts of the coloured organic bases containing amino and imino groups and also combined with a colourless acid, such as hydrochloric or sulphuric. The Dyes have poor light and wash fastness. The Dyes used for anionic fabrics which are negative charge-bearing, such as wool, silk, nylon, and acrylics. The Industrial Rhodamine Basic Dyes are red to brown coloured powder.
